This event is hosted by:

Gerri Florence

Gerri is an Infant and Child Sleep Educator and Founder of The Sleep Collective. Her goal is to promote family wellness and happiness by educating parents on healthy infant and child sleep. Gerri is committed to providing families with the education, support, and advice they need to confidently guide their children’s sleep. Through a holistic and personalized approach, she works with families to develop tailored solutions to their infant and child sleep issues that are responsive to the needs of both the caregivers and the child.

What is the #1 question you get asked the most? And what is your answer?

"Is sleep training bad for babies?"

The world of infant sleep has become flooded with misinformation and vitriol when it comes to infant sleep. It is important to step back and think about infant sleep like human sleep – an essential marker for good health, wellness and development. The waters of the sleep world have become muddy and it is my mission to ensure parents feel educated and confident in guiding their child’s sleep journey in a way that feels right for them and free of shame and judgment.

List 3 key takeaways of working with you:

  1. Gain evidence-based education and practical strategies for sleep and settling.
  2. Feel heard as a parent and have your needs reflected in a tailored sleep plan.
  3. Daily feedback and empathic support while you navigate your sleep journey.

List your achievements:

  • Helping hundreds of families to achieve restorative sleep.
  • Growing my business and adding a team member while living abroad for a year in Canada.
  • Raising two gorgeous boys who have the most wonderful relationship with sleep

3 key takeaways of this session

  1. Understanding the foundations to healthy sleep
  2. Exploring the role of secure attachment in sleep
  3. Practical strategies for creating a positive bedtime experience
